Danya Sherman is a survivor and an innovator. As the founder of KnoNap, the napkin that knows, she is working to combat the rising prevalence of drug facilitated assault. Having experienced it herself in the summer of 2016, she is on a mission to create a means to empower others to be safer in social settings. As an advocate for education and awareness building (recognizing that an assault won't occur without a perpetrator choosing to commit an act of sexual violence), she is making an impact by giving people one more tool to combat the reality of date rape drugs. In today's 180º of Impact interview, she has a conversation that hits close to home with 180º creator Matt Scott,  former President of GW Students Against Sexual Assault, a former street team member and panel moderator of Men Can Stop Rape and current PAVE ambassador and healthy relationships workshop facilitator.
